The Cabin in the Clearing

This delightful 3 inch book was made as a keepsake for the Miniature Book Society's Conclave in 2002. These one-panel drawings by artist Jim Baker first appeared in the daily Columbus Dispatch as a series called "The Ohio Adventure".

Baker describes and depicts building a log cabin as well as things used in log cabins, along with a bit of social commentary about the early 1800's. Folded up and tipped in the back of the book are Baker's plans on how to build a traditional log cabin.

Cream colored cloth binding stamped in black. Black end sheets.

I have a few copies left. $28.00
