Baskets of Alaska

Written by Arlie Hamer. Miriam took a trip by herself to experience Alaska. She began with an organized glacial cruise ship tour. Then she chartered a float plane to take her to Happy Harbor, a very small island near Ketchikan. There she stayed at one of the two cabins on the island with Arlie Hamer and her husband, whom she had corresponded with. Arlie was so intrigued with Miriam's little books that she wanted to write one. © 1981 by Miriam Irwin, Mosaic Press.1" tall with 64 pages.
